Notes for Ruth CUNNINGHAM
I have been unable to find out much about Ruth. In 1870 she was assisting in the Grocery Store and in January of 1877,she signed a deed, selling her interest in Lot 10 in Kirkersville to Elazabeth Dawson.1

1878 Stone-Died, May 8th, at her residence in Kirkersville, Mrs. Ruth Stone, relict of the late Captain James Stone, aged 84 years. Deceased had ben unwell only a few days, and her health through the previous winter had been excellent. She died the death of a christian, enjoying full hope of a blessed immortality.
Mrs. Ruth Stone, whose death at he age of 84 years, is recorded in this paper, was th daughter of John Cunningham, and was th last survivor of 14 children. John Cunningham removed his family to Licking county rom Hampshire county, virginia, in the year 1815, soon after the declaration of peace. He settled on Ramp Creek and for many years was a prominent citizen of the county.
