Notes for Ruth Vashita STONE
Roy Hunter visited me [Helen Stone Woodruff] last year [1980 or so] and told me of some of his memories. He remembered that his mother was very sick in Romona (Ramona, Oklahoma ??) and her brother, Charley (Charles Hugh Mayberry Stone), came to Oklahoma and got him and his mother and took them to his home near Lamar, Missouri in a covered wagon.
