JEFFERY, born 21-Sept-1747. Married MARY LEONARD. His will dated 10-Aug-1775, made in Uwchain Township, Chester County, Penn. said he was a YEOMAN from Guilford County, North Carolina. He appointed hiswife, MARY and his brother, BANNER BENTLEY as administratorix and administrator of his estate, He also asked that PETER D....., JOHN BEAL and JOSEPH LEONARD of Guilford, North Carolina be appointed guardians of his children, namely; JOSEPH, ELEANOR and JONATHAN.His will was proven 31-Aug-1775 and filed 21-Sept-1775.
