Obituary notes for Louisa CASE
Mrs. Louisa Stone. Louisa Case was born in Ludloville, Tomkins county, near Ithaca, N. Y., by the Utica Lake, June 26th 1830. Her parents emigrated to Ohio to a place at that time called Licking, near Newark, Ohio. She was the youngest daughter of John and Catherine Case and was married to Thomas Pugh in th winter of 1849. He was a soldier in the late war, and died from injuries received while in the service the 9th of July, 1865. She was afterwards remarried to Samuel Stone the 15th day of June 1871. Thy resided at olumbia Center; and at Topeka, Kansas, in 1871, and from there came to Pataskala, where Samuel Stone died, leaving her a widow. She then moved to Newark, Ohio, in the fall of 1889 where she resided until her death which was May 2d, 1897. The remains weree interred at th Pataskala cemetery.
