Notes for Theodore STONE
Theodore Stone died at his home on Harrison street Sunday [21 March 1897] at 12:25 p.m. after a lingering illness with pneumonia, aged sixty-four years. The funeral took place from the late home of the deceased uesday afternoon at wo o’clock.
Mr. Ston was born in Muskingum county and came to Licking county with his parents while a mere boy. In 1853 he was united in marriage with Mrs. Franes A. Adams, the result of that union being four children, three of whom, Mrs. Alice Tedrick, Mrs. Lizzie Gallogly and Horace Stone, with the wife and mother survive to mourn their loss.
Mr. Stone has long been a prominent figure in our city, he having ben engaged in business for himself for a time and afterwards being conncted with other houses as clerk, being in the employ of D. M. Black at the time of his death.
He had many firends who will miss him in their daily life.
