Notes for Alice Estelle STONE
After Clinton’s death, Alice homsteaded a farm in western Oklahome. She and her daughter, Gertrude, raised broomcorn and tried to survive in the severe country. After several years they returned to Leroy, Kansas and she remained there until her death. Both are buried in the Leroy Cemetery.1

All others born in Ohio. Alice, Carrie, and Mary attended school that year.
