Census notes for Herman WOODRUFF
1880 Burrton Kansas
1900 The Herman Woodruff in the census lived in Ninnescah, Reno County, Kansas, in 1900. The entry lists his parents being born in North Carolina (father) and Kentucky (mother). The correct answers are Connecticut and Sweden. Reno county is next to Harvey county where the town of Burrton is located. His younger brother, Burrton, was taken in by a family in this area, so it is not unlikely that Herman stayed around. However this is 1900, Burrton is 25 and married for 5 years or so.
