Mrs. Miller’s Rites Set For Wed. Here
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Laura May Miller, 82, who died at the Standifer Nursing Home Sunday following an extended illness.
Mrs. Miller was born July 30, 1884 in Carrollton, Mo. She was married June 17, 1913, at Joplin to Thomas W. Miller. He preceededher in death in September of 1961.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Pawhuska First Christian Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include four sons George T. Miller of Pawhuska, J. J. Miller of Odessa, Tex., Paul L. Miller of Pratt, Kan., Thomas W. Miller of torrance, Calif.; one daughter Mrs. Ruth Rockhold of Plainsville, Kan., and one sister, Mrs. Leona Miller of Houston and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery at Pittsburg, Kan., following the Wednesday rites here. Rev. Richard Dickworth of the First Christian Church will officiate at the rites.
