Rev. Wayne E. Morgan was minister and United Methodist counselor
Services for the Rev. Wayne E. Morgan, 64, Indianpaolis, a retired United Methodist Church minister and counselor, will be at 2 p.m. August 11 in St. Luke's United Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with calling there from 1 p.m.
He died August 4.
A graduate of Baker University, Boston University, and Boston School of Theology, the Rev. Morgan retired in 1996 as pastoral counselor/biofeedback therapist for MetroHealth. He also had directed classes and counseled at Community Hospital Wellness Center.
Previously, he was chaplain at Southwest Health Center and Indiana Reformatory, Pendleton.
Before moving to Indianpolis in 1979, he developed and directed the Middletown (Ohio) Pastoral Counseling Center. He also had pastored Methodist churches in Ohio and Kansas.
He was a member of the Southern Indian Conference of the United Methodist Church.
