Notes for Mary Nadine BACK
Married Frank Holland at Plum Grove Farm, her parents home, near Billings, Oklahoma. She spent sometime in California, where she was employed by the Guarantee Title and Trust Co. She died 18-May1925 and was laid to rest in the Union Cemetery, Billings, beside her father. No issue

Its my understanding she died of breast cancer.--BGWIII 7/11/1999.
Obituary notes for Mary Nadine BACK
Mary Nadine Holland was born in Boonville, Missouri, June 12, 1888; died at the home of her mother in Billings, Oklahoma, Monday morning, May 18, 1925, at 3 o'clock at the age of 36 years, 11 months and 6 days.
She came to Oklahoma with her parents as a mere child, when her father staked his claim in the opening of the Cherokee Strip. Billings and vicinity has been her home ever since, except the eighteen months which she spent in Los Angeles, California, where she was employed in the Guarantee Title and Trust Co., as a recorder, demanding a good salary because of her honest, faithful work. Her declining health required her to return home, leaving with a permits of a position on her retune, but never being able to do so. To know her was to love her. Through all her suffering she was so patient and always had a smile for her many faithful friends.
She was united in marriage to Frank Holland, February 5, 1908.
She joined the Roman Catholic church in 1924 and received great comfort in her last days.
She was laid to rest by the side of her father, Mr. P. G. Back, in the Union cemetery Wednesday morning following services at the Catholic church, attended by a great number of sorrowing relatives and friends and acquaintances.
Besides her mother, she leaves to morn her, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stone, Tonkawa, Mrs. Maybelle Stephenson, and one brother, Emil Back, both of Bilings.
Those from out of town to attend the last rites were:Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilkins, Mrs Taylor Bowen, Mrs. Dan Van Voris, Mrs. DeGriffin Read, Mrs.Ralph Stone, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dupy, all of Tonkawa; Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Holland of Marland, Mrs. W. F. Baker of Blackwell, Mr.s M. E. Myers and Mrs. Moody and son of Lamont.--Billings News.
