Notes for Louise Magdalena MEISBURGER
They lived in Boonville until the opening of the Cherokee Strip. Philip took a claim near Billings (called Plum Grove Farm), Oklahoma and moved his family out from Missouri in February of 1894. They proved the claim and in about 1909 bullt a new home in Billings, Oklahoma. During their first years in Oklahoma, Philip Back had a store and Post Office at Arnold, Oklahoma. After they moved into Billings, he had Mercantile Stores until his death.

July 7, 1999. I visited the Billings home located at 221 West Sibley. The current owners, Mr. & Mrs. Gary Hurst were very welcoming.The porch swing that PG built is still there. I have a picture. Burrton Woodruff III
Will notes for Louise Magdalena MEISBURGER
I, Louise Magdalene Back, of Billings, Noble County and State of Oklahoma, being now in good health, strength of body and mind, but sensible of the uncertainty of life, and desiring to make disposition of my property and affairs while in health and strength, do hereby make, publish, and declare the following to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking and canceling all other or former wills by me at any time made.
1. I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses.
2. I give, devise and bequeath all my property real, personal, and mixed or of whatever nature it may be, to my three children wholes names are as follows:
Emil P. Back
Anna nee Stone,
Maybelle nee Stephenson.
It is my desire that my three children above named share equally in all my property, each one taking one-third and disposing of their share in any manner they think best.
In witness whereof, I, Louise Magdalene Back, have this my last will and testament consisting of one shed of paper, subscribed my name this 26th day of February, 1926.

Subscribed by Louise Magdalene Back in the presence of each of us, the undersigned, and at the same time declared by her to be her last will and testament, and we, thereupon at the request of Louise Magdalene BAck, in her presence and in the presence of each other, sign our names heretoo as witnesses this 26 day of February, 1926, at Billings, Oklahoma.
