He worked in his early life as a saleman for W. H. Morris and Sons clothing Store in Bunceton, Missouri. Later on the Columbus Mail Train. In 1903 he was in Texas and in later life lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hew worked for many years for the Elks, in Tulsa.
