Obituary notes for Janie Lee JONES

Funeral services were held today for Mrs. Jane Lowry, 36 year old Vinitian who passed away Friday afternoon in a Vinita hospital. She was born February 13, 1940, in Commerce, Texas. She was graduated from Bartlesville College High School in 1958, and attended the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Mrs. Lowry was very active in Camp Fire Girls and Cub Scout work in Vinita.
She always helped in the UNICEF program and was county chairman of the Red Cross Blood Program. She was a former president of Chapter CG of the P. E. O. Sisterhood and was very active in church work. Mrs. Lowry was also involved with Friends of the Library and Will Rogers P.T.A. organizations.

She is survived by her husband, Richard W. Lowry, and three children, Richard W. Lowry Jr., Lee Ann Lowry and Scott Bryant Lowry, all of the home at 323 S. Foreman; her mother, Mrs. Bette B. Jones, Bartlesville; her grandmother, Mrs. Blance M. Bryant, Bartlesville, and one brother, James Vernon Jones, Borger, Texas.

Funeral services were today at 2 pm in St. John's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Richard Eaton and Rev. Mitcheal Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
