Mrs. Potter Dies, Rites Saturday

Mrs. W. A. Potter, 70, a lifelong Boonville resident, died at 4 p.m. Thursday after an illness of six weeks.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited at 8 tonight at the B. W. Thacher Funeral home. Mrs. Potter was born in Boonville, Jan. 12, 1888, the daughter of Joseph and Sophia Stretz Schuster. She was married to W. A. Potter, Nov. 17, 1917 at SS Peter and Paul's church. Survivors include her husband; one son, W. J. Potter of Boonville; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Sena, Mrs. Albert Hoff and Miss Minnie Schuster, all of Boonville; three brothers, Leo Schuster of Tipton, Wilber and Francis Schuster, both of Boonville; and three grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Potter was a lifelong member of SS Peter and Paul's church and was a graduate of the church school. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Altar society and the St. Joseph hospital auxiliary. Burial will be at Walnut Grove cemetery.53
