OBITUARY
Margurite Marie Catlin, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Hendrix of Jacksonville, Ark. was born Sept 9, 1895 , and died March 2, 1921 at 6 o'clock at the age of 26 years, 5 months and 21 days.
She was converted in 1911 and united with the Methodist Church. She married Colonel Catlin March 22, 1916 and leaves three small children, a baby of 13 months old.
We would say to the dear companion and loved ones left behind, weep not for those who have no hope for we feel she is at rest. She said a little while before she passed away "I'M going home" and begged those near her to get ready and go with her. She was a loving wife and a mother, a good daughter-in-law, and neighbor. All who knew her well said they could not speak a word against her. Her husband's people seemed to love her as dear as thought she was blood relation. Of her it could be said as of many of old "She hath done what she could."
The funeral was conducted by G.T. Campbell, Bible reading Resurrection of Lazarus", hymns used "It is Well With my Soul", Nearer My God to Thee" and "The Resurrection morning" She was laid away in the Spring Creek cemetery to await the Sounding of the Great Trumpet when all the dead in Christ shall Arise to meet him'
