Ernestine M. Estes, 79

Ernestine M. Estes, 79, of Blackwater, Missouri died Sunday, December 22, 1996 at Cooper County Memorial Hospital in Boonville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 29, William Wood Funeral Home in Boonville with the Rev. Charles Pardee officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call the William Wood Funeral Home after 1 p.m. on Thursday and until time of the service. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born June 17, 1917 in Boonville, the daughter of John and Mabel Smith Potter. She married Everett Estes on Feb. 13, 1937 at Sedalia. He survives. He had lived in the Blackwater community for 20 years. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Richard Estes of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Barbara Cheney of Asheville, North Carolina, and Kathryn Ballew of Columbia, Mo.; one brother, Henry Bock of Bonner Springs, Ks.; 10
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother. Memorials are suggested to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
